Well I’m back! How have you all been? I’ve been great! Tim and I have just got back from a Trans-Atlantic cruise to Europe. We had a great time! Meet some very nice people, some I hope will be friends for a loooong time.
I will be spending the next few days getting down my thoughts and memories of the cruise down here. There may be more then one post a day since so much has been and is going on. If it gets to much just skip the boring ones, LOL. This blog is kind of a journal for me and also a way to keep up with everyone while we are not with them. So be warned. 🙂
We flew to Ft. Lauderdale a couple of days before the cruise. We usually do this to get use to East Coast time and in case there are any plane issues we won’t miss the boat. Had a relaxing couple of days, just hanging out. The most notable thing that happened was that at the hotel they had these chickens hanging out by the front door. Now seeing chickens in the city is unusual in it self, but these were like no chicken I have ever seen! The people at the front desk said the live at the Nursery at the end of the street and are called Chinese Silke Chickens.

They are very soft looking and remind me of an Angora bunny. their skin is black under all those feathers.
They are very friendly and are said to make good pets. Tim whistled to them and they started following us.
