Sorry it has been awhile since I posted a card. Life is kind of busy right now:-)

I did find time to play along with the Merry Monday Christmas Card Club.

Thinking of you

This card was made using The Friday Mashup as inspiration.

This weeks challenge was:

Create a “Thinking of you or condolence card.”
Create a card/cards and “Donate it to a Charity or Organization of your choice.”
Or Mash it Up and create a “Thinking of you/Condolence Card and donate it to H.A.N.D.S via Heidi.”

I’m doing the Mashup this time. I made a sympathy card. I left the front blank of sentiment and added it to the inside. I will be sending it to Heidi for H.A.N.D.S I used retired Stampin Up designer paper and a retired stamp. I really like this stamp set!

Trick or Treat

Thought I’d take a break from Christmas cards and make a Halloween card.

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches # 103 for inspiration.

I had fun making this card. I usually don’t do Halloween cards, but thought I’d give it a try this year. I love the ribbon! Such fun.

Merry Mojo

Sorry I’ve been MIA. My husband and I took a car trip at the beginning of the week (more on that in another post) and I’ve had a hard time getting back in the swing of things.

I did find some time to do a couple of challenges. I combined Merry Monday Christmas Card Challenge and Mojo Monday #310 ( hence the name of this post LOL)

The inspiration for Merry Monday was this picture

Joyful Christmas

I have another Christmas card to show you. (You will probably be seeing a lot of Christmas cards for a while. I usually try to make mine all year long, but with my mojo gone I’m behind)

I used 2 challenges for the inspiration for this card.

The first challenge was from Always Playing with Paper’s Merry Monday Christmas Card Club # 73 the challenge was to make a Christmas card using “Red, green and Kraft on your card with a choice of ribbon, twine or burlap.

The second challenge was Mojo Monday’s sketch #309

Another card

Well I guess the mojo is starting to come back because I have another card done today.
Like I said I’m trying to play along with blog challenges and right now they are coming due about the same time. Will try to space them out better in the future LOL

This card is for Crazy 4 Challenges (C4C201) The challenge was to use buttons and bows.

Fall Card

Here is a fall card made for the Paper Players challenge. The challenge was called “Falling for You” create a fall-themed card. Unfortunately I missed the deadline by 5 minutes. Oh well, at least I got a card done!

Here is the inside. I didn’t stamp the sentiment yet, going to wait to see what I use the card for.

I also stamped the envelope and lined it.

Christmas card

I love making cards. That being said my mojo has seemed to have left the state. (Forget the building, it’s been gone to long LOL). Since around Thanksgiving, of last year, it seems like I just can’t get motivated. I think it is starting to come back. I’m wanting to make more cards lately. I think one thing that has helped is reading blogs. I read a lot of blogs that have challenges. Now deadlines are good for me, so I have decided to play along with some of these challenges. So expect to see more cards. (This is a good thing)

That being said I’ve decided to play along with Christmas Stampin All Year Long. The challenge this week is make a 3X3 card.

All my supplies are Stampin Up except I used Coptic to color.

Halloween card

I figured it was time to finally show some of the cards I make. Lol. No really I decided it was finally time to do some of the card challenges I follow.

This one is from Friday Mash Up. In this challenge they give you a choice between a sketch or a theme, or you can “mash them up” and use both together. I decided to just use the sketch.

I also have a card challenge I do with C3 (my Wednesday morning ladies group). It is the same format, sketch and/or theme.

So I’m doing the Friday Mash Up sketch and the C3 theme, which is make a Halloween card.
